Xerox Document Analytics Service can help you:
- Understand how, where and why documents are used.
- Seek new sources of productivity and efficiency.
- Find an alternative to manual data collection.
- Reduce file storage and associated costs.
This service finds ways to make document infrastructure more productive through efficient processes and reduced document storage and costs.
It incorporates traditional Managed Print Services (MPS) device data, print job details, audits of filed and unfiled paper, and client surveys.
MPS data pinpoints paper-intensive processes with greater speed and accuracy compared to traditional consulting methods. Qualitative data reveals why documents are printed and stored.
Innovative, proprietary Xerox tools, analysis, visualization and modeling provide deep insight. Comprehensive reports turn raw data into actionable steps.

That’s no longer a problem; with CompleteView® you can easily identify all devices within a specified department, provide feedback on performance as well as a historical account of their usage and associated costs. Furthermore, having identified a problem, you can quickly benchmark these details against other similar devices in your fleet, to see if there is a wider issue.
Visualise
Your information is displayed on-screen in a simple graphical format that promotes ease of understanding, even when using mobile devices. Unlike some lightweight applications, you can easily drill down into details with a simple click and drag (or touch and swipe!) There’s no lengthy learning curve, just instant access and data analysis at the speed of thought.

And almost unlimited combinations of the above.
Uploading data from a print management application to CompleteView:
Install the Data Communicator on the print management accounting server – the tool packages and uploads the encrypted job data to CompleteView via HTTPS. Data privacy is respected at all times, with options that remove sensitive data BEFORE it leaves the print management accounting server.
Uploading additional data to CompleteView:
Additional data may be uploaded to the platform to enhance / correct data generated by the print management application.
Correcting data errors
Printer drivers may produce deviations in data in a print management application database – uploading a list of jobs to exclude can balance this out.
Amending HR detail inaccuracies
Active Directories can contain the right level of detail to enable accurate department by department reporting / analysis. The option to upload this data directly to CompleteView ensures accurate reporting.
Adding MPS charges
Whilst it is possible to set pricing in a print management application itself, the ability to upload actual MPS costs provides the accurate actual costs down to a user level. This ensures that costs are recovered / reported accurately and eliminates issues arising from differences in print management application reported volumes and device based billing from vendors.
